Members of the Florida Manufacturing & Supply Chain Advocacy Council participate annually in the Florida Manufacturing Days in Tallahassee and Hill Day in Washington, D.C. The purpose of these events is for manufacturers to meet with their legislators to discuss and advocate for manufacturing related issues. They are great opportunities to network with legislators, colleagues and peers, and to learn more about the legislative process.
In January 2023, the Council celebrated Florida Manufacturing Days in Tallahassee with a delegation of nearly 50 manufacturing stakeholders. During event, attendees met with over 60 legislators. In March 2023, members of the Council traveled to Washington, D.C. for Hill Day to meet with Florida's congressional offices to highlight the importance of the MEP program to providing vital technology-based services to small- and medium-sized manufacturers. Delegates met with 16 Florida legislators, including both Senate offices.
